Opening period and travel checks
- Opening period confirmed on 2 October 2026: 18 March through 9 May 2027. The revised official FAQ on 4 October gives the start date but currently omits the end date.
- Check tickets, time slots, access and transport live with the operator. On 2 October 2026 Keukenhof's own FAQ covered only the dates and ticket sales, with no 2027 public-transport details; check bus links once the operator publishes them.
- These dates cover the 2027 season ending on 9 May. For a later visit, check the new season with Keukenhof.

Choose the base
Leiden
Compact historic city with a logical regional bulb route; Visit Leiden gives trains every ten minutes from Den Haag (12 minutes) and Amsterdam (35 minutes), and NS's every-night night train calls here.
Haarlem
City, dunes and North Holland bulb context across separate days; under 20 minutes from Amsterdam by train, but outside NS's every-night night train.
Amsterdam
Strong when the park is one excursion inside a wider major-city trip.
Lisse and surroundings
Only when landscape and an early start matter more than city evenings; Lisse is not on the rail network, so every day starts by bus or bike.
03
Bloom is not guaranteed
Bloom, weather, crowds and field access vary. Respect farmland and local instructions; an open attraction does not guarantee a specific landscape view on your date.
04
Check tickets and rooms
Opening dates do not guarantee a ticket or room for your visit. Check admission, accommodation prices and availability with the relevant providers.
