Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

Amsterdam Dance Event 2026: tickets, stay and night travel

Organiser: Amsterdam Dance Event Foundation

Choose the nights and venues first. A room near the places you will actually visit can matter more than an address marketed simply as central Amsterdam.

Admission first, accommodation second

Festival entry and accommodation are separate decisions. Confirm your nights and venues in the official programme, then choose an area that works for the final venue and the return trip.

Check each event's organiser, admission and venue. A Pro Pass does not guarantee entry when the pass-holder allocation is full.

01

Separate festival tickets from the Pro Pass

Checked 2 October 2026: ADE runs from Wednesday 21 to Sunday 25 October. Individual festival tickets are sold by each event's organiser through the official programme. The Pro Pass covers the conference and festival events, but venues keep limited capacity for pass holders and apply a full-for-now policy, so it does not guarantee entry. Buy an individual ticket for any night you cannot miss.

02

Map the last venue before choosing a room

Put your actual final venue, its entrance and your accommodation on one map. An event in a different district can make a central hotel less convenient. Compare Amsterdam areas using the stay guide, then check late check-in and quiet-room arrangements directly with the property.

03

Pro Pass: sleep near the conference

ADE Pro runs from 21 to 24 October at Felix Meritis (Keizersgracht 324), with business and matchmaking hubs at Keizersgracht 440 and Prinsengracht 432–436. If daytime sessions are the reason for the trip, a room in or near the Canal Belt keeps the conference on foot; compare areas in the Amsterdam stay guide.

04

Verify the overnight journey

Consult the operator for the precise night, including the date after midnight; daytime metro or tram service does not establish a night connection. GVB's network includes night buses. Pro Pass holders get five days of free GVB travel, collected as a code at the ADE Info & Ticket Desks; other visitors can get 20% off GVB day tickets with code ADE2026 in the ADE webshop. Allow for the walk and queues after the event, and keep an alternative return if your last connection is uncertain.

05

Keep a realistic daytime plan

Leave time for sleep, meals and travel between venues. Pair a short city visit with the nights you selected instead of buying a packed daytime itinerary. Most events are 18+, and some venues apply 21+ or 23+; check the page of each event.

06

Book the trip in the right order

Confirm event admission, choose the area and compare accommodation terms. A room reservation is separate from a ticket; a general Amsterdam activity does not include ADE. Buy event entry from the official programme and use the stay guide for the lodging decision.
